I started this series during the 2020 quarantine, taking my telephoto lens for a walk around my neighborhood, a historic area in Baltimore City, Hoe’s Heights. For this body of work, I focused my lens on moments that are simply there and in constant flux. For this series, I wanted to learn how the natural forms are juxtaposed with light - both natural and artificial - can lead me onto an escapist journey where I find poetic moments among the chaos that is happening in the world.
